Hope is a word of optimism, and it defines what we are living for. In this sermon, Dr. Stanley explores a biblical story of hopelessness and how Jesus can change our hopeless perspective into joy we can only imagine. There is no such thing as “beyond repair” for God. He has a purpose for each of us, and there is a reason for the trials we face.

I had a successful business but a few years ago nothing worked out. I had deals but it all fell apart because of situations beyond my control. I did my part, worked hard, prayed, claimed, stood, proclaimed, people prayed for me & nothing worked. I now work but still do the biz part-time. My mother never supported me, prayed for me, or said anything encouraging. I had dreams but l don’t see them ever coming to pass anymore. Deep, deep, hurt. Hopelessness hits me. I still pray but l’m disappointed.
If you think you’re a hard case.. remember God loves a challenge
