Our goal in reading the Bible should be just to contact the Lord. When we open the Bible we need to say “Lord, I’m coming to You, the living Word”. Reading the Bible will not benefit us unless we come to the person of the Lord Jesus. If we have the intent of just contacting Him by reading the word with prayer, He can infuse more of Himself into us and supply us inwardly.

My problem is i open the Bible to hear GOD , with current issues, yet have to read about someone else’s life and story. Over scanning trying to find my solution.
